Leveling The Playing Field Mini-Series Part 2
Welcome to the second installment of our mini-series on how Google levels the playing field for small businesses. The series breaks down exactly what you can do to use this to your advantage. You might want to start from the beginning with Search.
Location, location, location isn’t just for real estate. It’s a critical element of many Google searches:
97 percent of consumers read reviews of local businesses
33 percent of mobile searches are related to location
You can take advantage of this across all of your platforms:
Complete a free Google My Business profile
Add a Google map of your business location to your website
Include your location in all of your social media profiles
Make sure you’re including a location in your website keywords, metadata, and SEO (e.g., Westchester Marketing, Tri-State Marketing, Westchester Business Consultant, Mount Kisco Websites, New York Marketing, Westchester County Marketing)
Remember to add a location in your social media hashtags (e.g., #WestchesterMarketing, #WestchesterBusinessConsultants, #MtKisco, #NewYorkMarketing, #WestchesterCountyMarketing, #MtKiscoNY #MountKisco)
